Rabbinic Support
Our Rabbinic support provides families and patients with clear, compassionate guidance through the many questions that naturally arise during treatment and recovery. Eating disorders often raise complex halachic issues—such as kashrus, fasting, Shabbos and Yom Tov observance, and medical decision-making—that require nuanced psak, grounded both in halacha and in a thorough understanding of the medical and psychological realities. At the same time, broader hashkafic questions frequently emerge, touching on tznius, chinuch, family dynamics, relationships, personal responsibility, and identity during periods of vulnerability and change. Our Rabbinic leadership works closely with clinicians and families to provide thoughtful, individualized direction that prioritizes pikuach nefesh, emotional well-being, and long-term stability, helping patients and families navigate recovery in a way that is both clinically sound and fully aligned with Torah-true perspective.
