Education & Awareness

Our awareness events are designed to educate, sensitize, and equip those who are often the first points of contact for individuals struggling with eating disorders. We provide tailored programs for clinicians, Rabbonim, and the general public, as well as in-service presentations for pediatric and internal medicine offices, focusing on early identification, risk factors, referral pathways, and culturally informed care. These sessions address both the clinical realities of eating disorders and the unique communal, family, and religious dynamics that can influence recognition and response. By increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and offering practical tools, our programs help professionals and community members recognize concerns sooner, respond more effectively, and connect individuals and families with appropriate support before a crisis develops.
